This is a checklist to help Consignors make sure they have completed everything they need to do before their scheduled Drop-Off appointment.

  • Register to be a Consignor and pay your $15 non-refundable Consignor fee through Paypal
  • Read completely through the Consignor Agreement & Release Form.  This will need to be signed and brought with you when you drop off your items.
  • Clean out your closet!  Make sure to read through our “Accepted Items”. Make 2 piles…one sell pile (of accepted items), and one donate pile.  We are happy to take your donations at the time of drop-off.
  • Prepare your items!  Make sure they are freshly cleaned, ironed, and free of stains, holes, odors (including smoke and perfume), etc.  Read through our “Item Prep” section for all details on how to prep your items correctly.
  • Hang all clothing on hangers, with the hook facing left like a question mark ( ? ).  All pants, skirts, shorts need to be hung on pant/skirt hangers with clips.
  • Organize your clothing by category and size for drop-off.  (Example:  All long sleeve tops in size order SM-LG, all short sleeves in size order, all tanks in size order, all pants in size order, etc).  This is to help speed up the Drop-Off process and get items placed on the sales floor easier.
  • Login to your Consignor account and enter each item into inventory, making sure to give a good description.  The better the description, the better chance we have of reattaching missing tags to their items, if by chance one falls off.
  • Once finished entering your items, you can print your tags.  Please print tags on white CARDSTOCK.  If your tags are printed on plain printer paper, there is a higher chance your tags will get torn, fall off and get lost.  Any items without a tag will not be able to be sold at the sale and will be placed in a Lost & Found bin.
  • Tag all items!  Make sure you read the tagging instructions in the “Tagging” section, for correct tag placement.
  • Schedule your Drop-Off appointment by going to the link in our “Drop-off/pickup” section.  It IS mandatory to schedule an appointment for Drop-Off.  If you walk in without a Drop-off appointment, we can not guarantee we’ll be able to check your items in.  All Consignors with appointments will be helped first.
  • Schedule your Volunteer shift by registering in the Volunteer section.  This is not mandatory, however, as a Volunteer you receive 5% more back on your total sales AND you get to shop the Pre-Sale before we open to the public. The Closet Envy Consignment Event is only successful because of our Volunteers!  So get on board, and join our team!!  We promise you will have fun!
  • Drop off your items! While at Drop-Off, don’t forget to schedule a time to pick-up your unsold/non donated items. Following is a list of things to bring with you at Drop-Off!
    • All your tagged items, organized by category and size
    • A copy of your signed Consignor Agreement & Release Form
    • A stamped/self-addressed envelope ***We will use this to mail your check.  If you do not bring your stamped envelope, we will have some for sale for $1.
  • GET YOUR SHOPPING SHOES ON AND GET READY TO HAVE SOME FUN AND FIND SOME AMAZING DEALS!!!
